They Wish They Were Us {Jessica Goodman}

They Wish They Were UsThey Wish They Were Us by Jessica Goodman
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I am a huge fan of any book that centers around a bunch of privileged prep school teenagers. Throw in some good drama, and I am all in. This book checks all those boxes! I loved these characters so much. Even though they were in high school, I often felt like I was reading a college-aged story instead. The characters were well developed, and the plot was a perfect combination of perplex and easy to follow.

I did feel the ending was very predictable, but there was enough in the book to keep you second-guessing yourself - making the ending enjoyable. I was thrown off a few times, so I was still a tiny bit surprised when the end was revealed.

This was a new author for me, but I enjoyed this book enough to keep an eye out for more books.
