Picture Perfect {Janice Thompson}

Picture Perfect {Janice Thompson} | #bookreview #christianromance #tingsmombooks
Feisty wedding photographer Hannah McDermott has dealt with her share of difficult brides. But none can compare to the ultimate Bridezilla she's dealing with now. Still, she's trying desperately to impress Bella Neeley, Galveston Island's most sought-after wedding planner, so she can take the top spot in Bella's list of recommended photographers--a spot currently occupied by her arch-rival, Drew Kincaid. What she doesn't count on, however, is falling head over heels for the competition.

A few years ago I discovered Janice Thompson's Weddings by Bella series and fell madly in love with it. I think I read every book in that series in about two weeks. It was one of those series that you didn't want to end. After that, I started the Backstage Pass books, but I'm not sure why I never continued past the first book.

When I saw the Weddings by Design series, I knew that I wanted to pick them up. I had no idea that I would be in for such a familiar surprise - all the characters from the Weddings by Bella series are back!

Of course, this series centers around a whole new host of characters but they are all connected to Bella, DJ, and the whole clan. It just felt so familiar be back with the family.

I loved Hannah in this book. She reminds me a lot of myself in the way she feels about herself and second guesses herself quite a bit. Watching her slowly gain confidence made me so happy.

Of course this book also contained the one thing that makes me love Janice Thompson's writing so much - God is loud and clear throughout the entire book. The characters in these books are always God seeking and Christ centered. Listening in on their conversations tends to get me sometimes. More often than not I find the words in the books speaking to me on a personal level as well as part of the story.

Once again, Janice Thompson has hit a home run with a new series. I've already purchased books two and three, and pre-ordered book four in this series. I can't wait to get through them, and tell you all about them!
