Katie's Glimpse {Robin Keahey}

Secrets...They eat at you until there is nothing left. They stay in the back of your mind and on the tip of your tongue, never forgotten, forever wanting to be set free.

Kaitlyn "Katie" Crane knows all too well the pain and misery that comes from keeping secrets. They have cost her everything, including her faith.

Attempting to leave it all behind, she moves away to college, but the darkness of her past continues to torment her. She's struggling and barely hanging on, until Levi- a persistent and godly man, walks into her life wanting to heal her shattered heart.

Will he be the one to bring her back into God's light, or will the secrets she holds so tightly destroy them both?

I loved, loved, loved, loved this book! I met Robin at a blogger meeting and thought I would give her book at try - because that's what fellow bloggers do. I had no idea that Robin was such a talented author with such an amazing story.

This book starts with Katie meeting Levi for the first time. It is obvious that there is a connection there, but it is also obvious that Katie has some baggage that is keeping her from living her life to the fullest. We then get to flashback to high school. We learn about Katie's life, the decisions she made, and the consequences that have gotten her to this low point in life.

And then we get to see Katie and Levi fall in love. It is an amazing love story and I was so happy for them as if it was two of my best friends. Until Katie's past comes creeping back up. She tells Levi the truth, the whole truth, and their relationship falls flat.

But God can do amazing things and I loved how Robin brought faith and God into this story in such a powerful way. Katie and Levi find a common ground and work everything out.

Things are going so well and I was so happy for the couple. And then someone from Katie's past shows up.

And then the story ends! Seriously.

I am on pins and needles waiting for the next book in this series - More Than a Glimpse.
